Fay Wilkinson

Fay Wilkinson   Fay Wilkinson is a textile artist, mask maker and storyteller from Eagle Lake, Ontario, where she also runs an "Arts Retreat Centre". Her work is filled with beauty, mythology, and story. Fay came into my life several years ago. She has helped and inspired me in many ways. Although we have never met, I consider her a valuable friend. I am pleased to introduce her to you.
    Mary Holdgrafer.

Fay writes: "I love to experiment combining media into a new, coherent whole - connecting things that are apparently disconnected - perhaps a metaphor for my life! I constantly ask myself 'what if.?' . . . working intuitively with colour and texture. I see faces everywhere - a crumpled shirt, drifting snow, a slab of rock or a piece of felt I'm working on. As I strive to create from my heart, each piece has a story to tell, revealing a little more of my authentic self."
